I am so glad to have stumbled across this list. I also thought I was the only BR unhappy person on the earth. I had my surgery Feb 17, went back to work 5 weeks later. Two days back at work I had volumous discharge, and hurried back to surgeon. Whom I really like. I was in surgery next day for cleaning of cavern of infection and getting all the goop out then 6 days in hosp on IV antibiotics. Now I have a tunnel about as big as a pencil, app 3 inches deep. We (Hubby and I) clean it 2 x's a day stuff with guaze thread stuff and am told it will heal from inside out. I am so tired of this mess. I try to work and have no energy.....I am hurting constantly. Is there any thing to take or do other than narcotics that will help. My doctor said yesterday I also have lymphedema whatever that is so my other breast is very uncomfortable. Ideas?
