No...not everyone does have complications, but make sure you discuss your concerns with your PS. As for size, you can tell your PS where you want to be, but they will probably tell you the goal is to make you look proportionate to the rest of your body. The surgery itself usually only changes cup size...to change band size they will probably have to do liposuction on the side. Good luck.
