Sara, I am having different kinds of healing problems, but I have heard that women who have had nipple problems have seen that white area under the nipple that you seem to be describing. I know it takes time for the body to heal itself. If you trust your PS be patient, but don't forget to ask questions. Make sure you feel comfortable with the answers you are getting and if not, keep asking. If you are not comfortable with your PS get a second opinion.
