That is strange because for me at has been a pretty smooth process from post op till now (it has been 3 weeks)The only thing is that now I am starting to itch, maybe the stitches and once in a while I feel prickling deep withing but it is more uncomfortable then painful. I never actually took pain meds just the antibiotics. Talk to you PS, maybe what you are experiencing is not normal
