I'm 2 months post-op and doing great.
My biggest fear was the anesthesia too. I had never been "under" before. I did some research and found out that modern day anesthesia is very safe. I had a wonderful anesthesiologist who really made me feel at ease. Make sure that you share your feelings with your anesthesiologist before the surgery.
