: My blog is a little different from everyone
: else's. It's divided into three columns.
: The middle column is just my
: commentary/diary/sale listings. The two
: outer columns are long lists.
: One side lists every Barbie doll made
: between 1959 and 1999, including foreign
: dolls. I don't list minor variations in
: hair, eye, lip, nail or even outfit color,
: although I do list major ones, such as
: blonde, brunette, redheard or ethnic.
: These lists aren't of dolls for sale. It's
: just a mention of every thing I could find
: from every reference book or website I knew
: about, and it took about six months to
: The other list is much shorter--it's of my
: specialty, which is Skipper, from 1964 to
: 1999. The same rules apply to Skipper as
: they did to Barbie.
: You are welcome to borrow my lists, although
: if you do, I'd appreciate it if you would
: reference me.
: What you will go to is just the front page,
: with a link to my email if you want to email
: me. Go down to the bottom of the page,
: where you'll see a link for
: skippercollector. That's where my actual
: blog is.
: Why did I stop at 1999? I started
: collecting in the early 80s, and by the end
: of the century I had at least one item for
: every year between 1959 and 1999. I figured
: 40 years of stuff was enough. I still go
: back and buy pre-1999 stuff if something
: catches my eye, but you are on your own for
: 2000 and after.
