Yeah, I don't think their divorce had anything to do with Madonna, either.
As sleazy as some of her public behavior may have been in the 80s and early 90s, I don't think Madonna is the type of woman to break up another marriage. She has three kids and a husband who worships her, and she's been settled down in London for some time. She would not throw that away for an idiot like A-Rod.
