Unfortunately,there is still such a stigma attached to mental illness, so it's not discussed openly.
Mental illness is such a tradgedy for the person who suffers, but also for the families involved.
A lot of times there is a dual diagnosis with mental illness and substance abuse ,so it's very difficult to treat people.
Brittany Spears is in a lot of trouble and I just hope that her best interests are being considered.
It seems as if there is a power struggle going on between her parents and others. I really don't see a positive outcome, I could be wrong though.
