MC & Pavlos' marriage was such an arranged marriage it's almost comical and anyone in The Know knows it. The GRF were looking for a rich heiress (as they are not considered rich by true wealthy standards) and everyone knows the social-climbing Millers were looking for a high-profile husband (pref. royalty) for their beloved MC. That's not to say MC and Pavlos aren't in love, but it was def. an arranged marriage which benefited both parties.
