I set up a 624 w/disa to open garage doors via the 4 contacts. I looped an extension port into an unused co port. When the disa message started you would have to dial the co group code (81-86) and disa security code. (I can't remember which is first) Instead of co dial tone to make outside calls you would get intercom dial tone, for which dialing 551, 552, 553 and 554 was possible. This I set up in a local ambulance garage w/ 3 doors. The local sheriffs department could call into the 624 on the disa line and follow provided instructions, remotely open any or all of the garage doors from 3 blocks away. It is still working today after probably 5+ years.
