Posted by AbleComm on October 19, 2005, 6:11 am, in reply to "Re: TDA 50 vs KX-TAW848" It's a dumbed-down version of the TDA50 that can't use 7200, 7400 or 7600 series digital phones, and lacks some features that the TDA50 has.
Although it's not marketed as a digital system, the TAW848 is not an analog system. Its guts are just as digital as the TDA50, and most of the circuitry is the same.
Pan did the same thing with the TA1232, which was a dumbed-down version of the TD1232.
