Two-way recording is supported by our phone system, but I can't get it to work in our small office. I will do my best to explain, but I'm not very experienced - please let me know if more information is needed.
I programmed a button on my KX-T7453 phone for the TWR feature, using the same mailbox as the extension that'll be recording - phone extension is 105, mailbox # is the same. I've confirmed it's setup by pushing the button while not in use, and the display shows: "2 WAY-REC : 105".
However, when I push the button during a call to my cell phone, it gives 3 short beeps. The manual mentions an alarm means all voice mail ports are in use. This shouldn't be the case, since I'm the only one using a phone.
I checked the Voice Mail Port Assingment (program 117) thinking it may be that we don't have ports correctly assigned? It has Mast1: #15 #16 #(blank). Mast2, Slav1, and Slav2 are all blank.
Tried playing around a bit with different numbers, but couldn't get it working. Also, tried making a 2-way transfer button, but every VM I try transfering to gives the same beeping.
Not sure if it matters, but we have just 3 outside lines, assigned as CO1, CO2, and CO4, and use extensions 101, 102, 103, 105, and 106. All phones are members of the same
Any help or troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
