I've installed a loud ringer and strobe to an extension (KX-T7453)in my home workshop. I disabled XDP on that jack, and attached the ringer device to the XDP connector on the back of the phone, and turned on the Parallel Ringer feature with INTERCOM 391 command. Works great for incoming calls from the outside, but does not work for intercom or doorbell calls. The external ringer's specs say it triggers with 40-130V rms/20-30 Hz. Anyone know what I need to do to get it to work on intercom/doorbell calls?
