Kind of long but here it goes.
I have a TA824 installed in my home. I have it programmed with voicemail but if no one is home it just rings and rings. If I answer the call I can transfer it to an extension where voicemail will pick it up. Or if I set a closing time, calls will go straight to voicemail. But if I am home and don't want to answer, the phone will just keep ringing. Am I missing something or is this just the business aspect of the system?
Also, the phones have caller id but I can't seem to check the history. I want to be able to check both answered and unanswered call history.
The following article leads me to believe upgrading to a TAW848 will remedy both issues:

Will this work, or should I spend more time reading my TA824 manual
