We are re-wiring our company building, which means that I have to move, reconnect and reprogram our dual master-slave Panasonic telephone system. Master TD1232 has all kinds of add-on modules, for example primary ISDN, analog lines extension … and has been extensively reprogrammed many times, by various people, for at least five years. Both programming and wiring documentation is almost nonexistent. We can’t afford to pay professional because he would have to spend many days analyzing the complete current wiring and software configuration and then designing complex new one. I have to do it myself. It would be no great problem if only I could find Panasonic configuration program. There is some old Russian one, written originally for DOS, but it is difficult to use and I do not trust it very much. There has been many regional and firmware revision for all components. However, I did find almost exactly what I’m looking for, but for the wrong region, so it does not work. It is Panasonic program for dealers, like this one (picture).
I am rather desperate now. Is there some good soul to send me this program (for CE region)? I am aware that it is for dealers only. But, it is very old, obsolete system, we have already given substantial amount of money to Panasonic over the years, and now I can’t use something that I have bought?
Another problem is that it is currently impossible to see label on the bottom of the units, so I do not know what is the region of my TD1232. But my Panasonic telephones 7730 and ISDN add-on module is for "CE" region, so most likely it is KX-TD1232CE. Is it possible to read full model number or region from some address? Also, I’m not sure if CE stands for Eastern Europe, Central Europe or something else? Any help will be appreciated. My emal is: arvlak [at] gmail com
