LOL Some fax machines have the ability to insert a "9" as part of the dialing string, IIRC my Brother can do that, but I don't bother, brother :-)
I just tell my honey to remember to press 9 PAUSE before she dials a number. It was interesting the day she tried to press PAUSE first....it's the REDIAL command. Fortunately the customer she kept sending faxes to was understanding.
