A KX-TA824 system was recently installed at home and everything seems to be working as planned (only 24 hours). I would like to have the ability to make minor programming changes to the system via the 'maintenance console' software downloaded from the supplied Panasonic cd. Here are three initial questions I have:
1) when connecting the pc to the TA824 via usb cable the 'found new hardware' message appears however the message refers to the KX-TES824 (european), the system exterior clearly is marked as a KX-TA824. any concern?
2) the drivers cannot be found even when pointing to the drivers downloaded from the cd. my pc is running Vista Home Premium - 64 bit.
3)where can I download panasonic software from?
