Okay, so I'm in the process of setting up my TVA-50 to work with my KX-TAW848. I've got it up and running, I'm just having one small problem. Transferring a call to VM.
Okay, where I stand right now is that if you just dial another extension it'll ring a few times and go to VM...good. If DND/FWD is on, it goes right to VM, okay.
If I have a call, and I want to put it into #101's VM and they have FWD/DND on, it works, if they don't, it's harder. If I just hit Transfer 101 and hangup it'll just ring and ring and never go to VM. What I have to do is hit Transfer 101, wait for the VM to pickup and then hangup and the caller will get the VM. It seems like a workaround becuase I KNOW no one will remember to hit the FWD/DND key, which means the other employees have to wait for VM to pick up before they can set down the handset and I know they'll mess that up too. Hopefully this isn't getting to wordy. Basically, I want to have a caller on my line, hit Transfer 101 and hangup, then if 101 isn't there, the VM will pick up. Is there a setting I'm missing?
I'll have more questions, but I want to get one thing working at a time.
