Let me ask this again. Did you plug a 77xx phone into jack 1 alone to get dead? Did you move it to ports 2-8(16)? If it's dead at all ports with nothing plugged into it, it sounds like you lost the Data power supply. If a 77xx phone works in all the ports alone, then you have a wiring error.
