I have a KX-TD816 phone system that I have been using for 8 years now. Recently, the system would 'hang' (no phone lines working) and I would have to power off the system to get it to work again. It was happening close to every hour. We removed the expansion card and the caller ID card to isolate the problem and it still happened. The incoming phone lines are OK. We purchased another used KX-TD816 system and after 3 days, the new (used) system did it again. Any ideas? What are the odds of having 2 units with the same problem?
