We have an answering machine connected to one of 8 extensions on a Panasonic KX-TA624 exchange. Unanswered calls divert to the answering machine. The problem is, whenever someone calls and hangs up during the DISA message before selecting an extension, the answering machine is still triggered, so we hear the answering machine give it's recorded message, but no-one is on the line. Is there some way of stopping the system continuing to transfer the call after the caller hangs-up?
Also, callers from some mobiles also seem to have problems getting the system to recognise an extension number, and are diverted to the answering machine.
