Hello, does anyone know if it is possible (whether using 3d party add-on or whatever) to integrate my phone system (KX-TAW848 with KX-TVA50 vm) with my (internet) network to create some kind of "virtual extension" that would allow me to use my laptop (or any computer on the network) to call an extension?

The reason I ask is because I have a wireless network with computers far more readily available than either wired extensions or wireless cell extensions (that actually have the phone in the charger where it belongs). When I am sitting at this computer, the nearest phone is 30+ feet away and it would be so convenient if I could use an ap on my computer to intercom to another room.
Any ideas anyone? Perhaps there is another phone system that is network/IP based that would allow this?
