Just in passing...a Panasonic trick. If you make a CO button into a speed dial, you need 2 plus (access code...9) plus the number. The PF buttons already have a 2 because it's the only thing you can do with the button. You can dial an intercom number like 33* for page, but the 9 gives you outside line access.
You also just learned the difference between a TA and TAW/TD/TDA :-) The TA needs you to select a line or intercom, the others do not.
