I have a Panasonic KX-TA 624 system, it’s about 9 years old. I just replaced the 7030 (7000) series phones with 7731(7700) series. I have figured out how to get into the programming mode by hitting the pound and star sign etc. However the ext programming is abit rough. The phone has 24 buttons. My problem is that I have figured out how it program the lighted CO buttons on the left side of the two rows of twelve button. The 12 button s on the right (PF) I can not get t work as one touch buttons. I want to use them as one touch button to dial a phone number. I can store the number in them but when I push them they won’t pick up a CO line and dial. When I push the CO button and then the PF button nothing happens yet the number is programmed into the button, because when I touch the button first I can see the number stored. Help?
