I am a bit confused about the operator settings on our KVS125 VM system. I can set the operator's mailbox number to whatever I want, but for Operator 1 in Day mode I cannot set the extension to a number that already has a mailbox assigned.
I can, however, set Operator 2 to any extension, regardless of existing mailboxes.
For instance:
- Ext Group Setup with 191 as Ext
- A VM box is setup for Ext 191
- Operator 1 Ext cannot be set to 191, but VM can be set to 191
- Operator 2 Ext AND VM CAN be set to 191
Should I just make it where Operator 1 automatically dials Next Operator? It seems odd that I can set the extensions for subsequent Operators, but not the top level.
Any advice?
