I am a prospective purchaser of an elaborate wireless phone system with four handsets. A major attraction is the intercom capability. When someone answers an incoming call, I would like him to be able to page all other phones, instead of yelling. I have read that the KX-TG6074B facilitates intercom while the phone line is occupied, despite the fact that this is a one-line phone...so I am onto something here. I have read that one user can page another handset if he knows the specific "number" of that other handset. But I am unclear on the point of whether paging can be performed to all handsets... a "broadcast," that is. Can anyone comment on feasibility of this? Does is work to dial "0" to broadcast a page to all handsets?
Can anyone recommend an alternative Panasonic phone system that accommodates this requested feature? I like the 6074 because it has four handsets...though I suppose three would suffice barely.
