I'm upgrading a KX-TD1232 (-7) with voicemail but also want the automatic attendant to pickup overflow calls.
I have the VPS connected to jack 2, extensions are 165 and 166 and in exg 8, exg 8 is set to AA Station Hunting.
Auto-configuration worked like a breeze and the system works both exts. on the inside. I can also use VTR button to transfer an outside caller to a personal mailbox.
I have DIL 1:1 on one line set to 165 for testing. When I call from an outside line, the line appears to pick up but keeps ringing on the outside.
I ran a trace on the TVA200 and it runs through its entire program, shows the caller ID in the trace, everything, until it disconnects the caller because of silence - and the caller hears ringing the whole time. This suggests to me it's a programming issue with the 1232, but I have double and triple checked everything I can think of.
Program 990 doesn't seem to offer up any solutions.
At this point I'm hoping it's something really simple that I'm too frustrated to think of. Any clues?
