Integrating a VL-GM301A with a KX-TA824

I have a KX-TA824 and a VL-GM301A with two door camera/intercom units. I'd like the door units to also ring some of the phone extensions in addition to the base video station. The KX-TA824 has the door station/unlock relay expansion board. The documentation isn't clear on where I connect to. Do I run the connection from the VL-GM301A to the door station board or to a free extension or to a free CO port?
