KX-TD1232 with No Power

I posted recently regarding my KX-TD1232 stopped working with no power light. Is there a fuse in the system that I can check? Is it worth trying to fix the unit by getting a new power supply unit? I did purchase another used KX-TD1232 off ebay and the phones are back working again. It is just kind of wasteful throwing the old unit away.
