Posted by Lance on October 29, 2007, 8:03 am, in reply to "Question on KX-TD1232 Revision and Software" #2 I don't know how you could have saved the programming using the Panasonic Windows software (KX-A281), as it only worked on revision 4 or later systems. see this link for changes from one version to the next: http://www.panasonictel.com/systemversions.html #3 Any Panasonic KX-TVS or KX-TVA voice processor would work with any KX-TD control unit version 1 or newer. #4 Buy the newest version you can find with one WARNING. Versions 5, 6, and & use a different door phone card than your existing version #1. If you have a door phone card KX-TD160, look for a version 4 or older. #5 I have never replaced a power supply and can't answer your questions, BUT there were different power supplies over time and the one in your KX-TD816 may not be the right one for your KX-TD1232. You might look at the www.panasonic.com website in the order parts section and see if it is available. Good Luck
#1- You can assume you have a revision #1. The #1 could not be upgraded iwth a chipset, so unless someone spent thousands to change the motherboard you would have a number 1.
