This weekend my office KX-TD1232 system went down. There is no power light. On the bottom of the unit is a "1" with a circle next to the serial number.
1. Is my unit Revision 1?
2. I saved the programming file using the Panasonic Windows program. I see some Revision 3 and 4 for sale on Ebay. Can I upload the saved phone data to the newer revisions? What changed with the newer revisions?
3. I also have a voice mail box attached. Would revision 3 and 4 boxes work with an older version voice message box?
4. Should I just try to buy another revision 1 box? and not worry about compatibility issues?
5. How easy or hard is it to replace the power supply unit? I have another KX-TD816 unit in storage. Can I take apart the 816 power supply?
5. Is there a fuse in the box that I can check... that would be wonderful if it is just a fuse... wishful thinking I guess..
