
Posted by William on September 7, 2007, 10:21 am, in reply to "Message Lamp On All the Times" My free resolution was to clear the extension data manually from the phone (we run KX-T7630's, and I went to the "PROG" menu, under "##") and then set the phone back up through the software for our FWD/DND settings (the only items that changed when the extension data was wiped out). From that point on, the problem disappeared and the phones have worked great. Note: I don't know the full effect on others' systems. Please look into other options but know that this is a fix to exactly what you are referring to with some repercussive actions. Best of luck,
I've run into this problem three times (on three different phones) with our TDA-100/TVA-200 combo. Our installer didn't have a resolution other than checking to be sure no extensions were forwarded (which I checked to no result) and to delete voicemail messages (I did think to try that before calling) and to look any further would cost our company a large sum of money.
