KX-TD7690 not ringing

Hi, I purchased the KX-TAW848 from Ablecomm for a construction project that I was involved. The owner had already the KX-TD7690 from his previous home. I installed the phone and I can place outgoing phone calls but the phone does not ring for the incoming calls. It rings fine for the intercom calls though. Do you know what I need to do to setup the phone to ring for incoming calls? Thanks in advance for your help.
