Pana v.3.0 s/w for 824

Michael et al:
I see on the Pana web site that there is a new v.3.0 s/w download for the 824 [plus all new manuals], dated end July 2007. Any idea what is changed, new, or improved? There also seems to be some s/w related to the TVS50 as well. Any advice is welcome [and any hands-on experience with the update/upgrade.
