Ablecomm, I agree about Panasonic's language and understand how the ports work between analog (APITS) and digital (DPITS). Isn't a bit confusing that an analog system such as the TAW has Digital (DPITS) voicemail ports when those ports are connected to the same cards the analog phones are on and the system does not support digital phones like on the TDA?
My biggest problem with Panasonic ( I am not blaming you) is that they cannot be consistent with their terms and usage. When you do a trace on port 1 and 2 (DPITS)in the TVA you see calls on both but when you look at the parameters in the TVA under PBX it states there is only 1 port configured. It should say 2 ports because you are connected using DPITS. I know it is one physical connection. As I stated at the start this is just an observation on my part. Thank you for taking the time.
