It's possible that there was damage from an electrical surge. It's common for two adjacent ports to get messed up at the same time.
If you have CO ports that you don't need, just move the lines to those ports and re-program some buttons so the buttons for lines 3 and 4 pick up lines 7 and 8, for example.
If you don;t have spare ports, you'll have to get the 1232 fixed.
