Are you using the Windows-based programming software (via USB or RS-232) with your TAW848? If so, have you checked for any major or minor alarms (connect to TAW848, click Utility, Error Log - look for major or minor errors. Also try Utility, Diagnose. Are those PT's plugged into the same card(s)/port(s) that they were always assigned to? Is it possible that someone reprogrammed the PF buttons on those PT sets either by accident or on purpose? Is this behavior happening on ALL PT sets or just certain ones? If it's happening on ALL phones - it's likely a programming issue or bad card on the TAW848. It doesn't seem like your CO lines (or cards) would be the issue of SLT's are properly accessing those lines. The trouble is likely one of the following: a) corrupted software configuration If you can get your hands on a spare memory card, you may want to pull out the existing card (with power OFF), plug in a new card and set the system back to its factory defaults. If your problem goes away, then you have a corrputed configuration. Try swapping PT sets to different ports on another card (provided you have multiple cards). If the problem goes away - then you probably have a bad card. Essentially, you need to use a process of elimination to isolate the source of the problem. Hope this helps...
Michael,
b) fault PT sets
c) faulty digital or hybrid port card(s)
