That being the case, you may simply need to re-establish the integration settings between these units. Look in your TVS-50's installation manual for step-by-step instructions for programming your KX-TA624 for APITS integration with the TVS50. BOTH the KX-TA624 and TVS50 can be reset to factory defaults (see the install manuals for both units). Unfortunately, when you perform such a reset - it clears out any custom programming you've done - as well as greetings, mailboxes, prompts, custom service menus, etc. Hopefully neither unit is damaged and the worse case is that you may end up having to re-program one or both of these units. That said, it's ALWAYS a good idea to have a backup of those system's configuration(s). Having owned a KX-TA624, the best you can do to save the custom programming is to perform a "System Data Dump" (System program # 804) to the SMDR (RS-232) port, which you can capture to a file or print. You can then use this printout/file to manually re-program the KX-TA624 back to your custom settings. While programs such as Programmator claim to allow config backups/restores to-from the KX-TA624, I purchased such software only to discover that it WOULD NOT work with my KX-TA624. After several failed attempts to use Programmator with my KX-TA624 (authors solutions), I gave up. Similarly, you can save the TVS-50's configuration (Program, Parameters, System/User Prompts, etc.) via it's RS-232 port using a PC running terminal emulation software with X-Modem download capability (such as Procomm). Be aware that this can be EXTREMELY time consuming as the max RS-232 speed is 38400 - and some of the greetings and be several megabytes in size. Hopefully, in your case, it's simply the matter of re-establishing integration settings to get that error LED from flashing on your TVS50. If there's damaged hardware involved, most mfg's of those line/AC surge protectors provide insurance against damage that their devices were supposed to prevent. Hope all of this helps
If your KX-TA624 is working as you stated in your post, it doesn't sound like any CO or line cards were damaged in your KX-TA624 (can't say for sure).
I would NOT recommend performing a RESET on either unit unless nothing else solves your problem.
