Paging from Outside Call

[KXT 624 PBX with TVS50 VPS)
I want to be able to page a phone (or paging group) from an outside call.
Example: Babysitter is at house but not picking up phone, need to tell her to pick up....
I assumed this was the purpose of the intercom paging function but can't get it to work.
Is this possible?
