He did have a few "older" heads (mid 20's) and this formula was starting to work.
It's your saviour Lord Harrop of Ilkeston who is finding it all but impossible to attract anyone with more than 3 pubes to the Club.
And he certainly didn't have the pulling power to keep the likes of our most influential players in Maguire, Reid, Lane, and the longer it goes on, more than likely...Morgan.
I also believe that the Gaffer (and Chetts) ran the Club spot on, teaching all of the lads including the Acadamy what a professional club could/would be like. Teaching them values, respect, punctuality etc. All things that are severely lacking in so many young people today.
Just my opinion of course.
