But there is something not ringing true to me about all this, and I find it hard to believe that there was no other solution.
From what I am led to believe there is more than one investor interested in IFC, and why wouldn't there be?
With the success we've generated this season and the publicity and interest that's been shown I would of thought that numerous people would like a piece of the "action" so to speak.
But I really shudder at the thought of any investor dictating who manages and who plays for the club, which I fear could happen (if it hasn't already done so).
Plus I feel personally the revenue alone from the pre-season friendlies could of gone a long way into financing our management pairing.
The quality of pre-season opposition has been second to none for the last two seasons and I feel that is an awful lot down to KW and SC.
And I feel said friendlies could and would have got even bigger with their success, contacts and influence.
Kevin himself after being inducted into the IFCSG Hall Of Fame stated his departure was for more than just financial reasons, and I honestly believe that.
Unlike so many I don't and won't get involved in the financial squabbling that surrounds this club, but will say once again that there is something more to this than meets the eye.
I don't believe that this is the end of the club by any means.
But I do believe instead of the tiny step we had to success and another level we have taken MASSIVE strides backwards.
I would nearly go as far to say....
Top 5 this season..
Bottom 5 next...
