Mick Woodward, chairman/manager of Blue Square Premier club Grays Athletic, has started his preparation for the new season by releasing five players and offering deals to a further seven.
The Blues boss has offered new or extended contracts to Andy Sambrook, Simon Downer, Aaron Oconnor , Mark Haines, Neil McCafferty, Scott Taylor and Jeff Goulding.
However, goalkeepers Nicky Eyre and Danny Knowles have been told they can leave along with outfielders Charley Hearn, Cameron Mawer and Santos Gaia.
Meanwhile, midfielder Stuart Thurgood has returned to parent club Gillingham following the completion of his loan spell.
