people havent just been staying away because of one person and people have there reasons for not going (myself included)
certain messages I was sent last night by so called ilkeston fans make you think why bother - you goto games of football for the enjoyment, and when you cant enjoy the game because of a few people constantly mouthing off then you think whats the point.
I went to the Leek home game (first game since about november) now the football was poor like we already know BUT a few individuals took it upon themselves to not watch most of the game but to hassle me, slag me off and basically make it uncomfortable to be there - I was going to get a season ticket next year but now im thinking if thats what its going to be like I wont bother. I dont go out to spend the afternoon being verbally abused for no real reason !!!!
the thing about football is everyone has a different oppinion, just seems if you take an interest in Ilkeston Town FC then your not allowed to have that.
