to Concord, MA I go!
Yesterday, as we traveled to see friends, my husband and I were able to stop in Concord just long enough to visit The Concord Mousetrap (Montague Gallery). We have made WFF purchases there through email and I post here now and again, but I've never seen the shop. I lived nearby at one time, but moved away for 13 years. Now we are back in the area.
I doubt you can see a more complete display of WFF anywhere - a treat in itself! More than that, it was so nice to meet Bill Montague who, besides taking the best WFF photographs, is interested in people, is an interesting individual himself and a kind host (even of our impromptu and abbreviated visit).
Thanks to this "stop" my appreciation of Concord itself is rekindled and I look forward to going back on a sunny spring day to revisit my old favorite haunt, The Old North Bridge, and the little museums and shops around town. Only now I will be sure to duck in for a quick "hello" to Bill (and, no doubt, to purchase the occasional mouse!).
I hope you'll take the opportunity to see Concord, The Montague Gallery (and Bill!) if you can.
