Solira: The Ocean: we'll never fade away

When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste

There was such chaos. Huyana felt detached from everything, everyone. She withdrew into herself, amber pools regarding the quickly moving world in a quiet interest. She felt Ariel detach herself from her side, and Huyana longed to reunite with her, abruptly cold and lonely without the ally so closely tucked at her side. But the roan kept her lips tight and only watched the young mare drift worryingly to her mother’s side, watched Marshall and Alshain hover by her as well. She rose, the mighty queen, still veiled in agony as so many were. But her words were sharp as they were wise. Seeing her okay, seeing the healers flitting around, and feeling strength return to her, Huyana merely drifted away from the heart of the chaos. She slunk near the shores, careful not to step into the sea which still fizzled with acid and fire. Determination creased her ‘brow, and slowly Huyana dipped her water into the moaning sea. She pulled and she tugged and she spit the fire and the pain from the ocean, pulling and pushing, leaning into the work and feeling sweat creep along the folds of her skin as her concentration and her exhaustion warred to help.
