In fact, the mixture of anger and fear seems to be written on everyone’s faces these day, but there is something about this particular male that tells Edgar they have something else in common – a complete lack of knowledge about what is going on. They are both outsiders, for now, and there is nothing that stems the loneliness of being an outsider like making friends with another outsider, and that was precisely what Edgar was about to attempt.

As he gets closer, he notices that the other male was not lucky enough to come to Solira after the hellfire had come and gone. The stranger had been burned like the rest of them, and he was probably in pain. With his brows knitted with concern, Edgar comes to a stop at a respectable distance from the other stallion and the jerks his head in the direction that he just came from. You know, there are horses over there that can heal you. It doesn’t make the pain go away completely but it…helps. Marshall reduced Edgar’s down to a dull ache, but the throbbing he feels is certainly and improvement from the agony that he was experiencing just a few short hours ago. As of today, Edgar has decided that burning alive would be the absolute worst way to die.
I’m Edgar, he states, his eyes searching the stranger for any sign that he might be calming down. He seems disturbingly on the edge of going into a rage at any moment, and Edgar is not exactly skilled in the art of defending himself. He was born to be more of a lover than a fighter, if you know what I mean. And you’re as new here as I am, I think. Don’t worry. I’m confused too. It seemed like the absolute worst time to be new to Solira, but here they were, and they would have to make the best of it.
