Hypatia's words and arrival had never been more welcome. There was a simple nod in response to what she said to him, his own mind shuttered against others since the arrival of Oracles. Not that he minded usually, but he did not consider Fenris friend and to even consider Hypatia a friend could be suicide. But he would rather side with the desert than with the wolves, feeling as if he owed Fenris too much already. "Heal who you can Hypatia. That is all I can ask of you." He turned to look towards Wyvern. "The same goes for you if you decide to stay." His meaning clear, Fenris should leave but Wyvern was welcome to help. What a hypocrite you can be my dear Marshall. He smiled at himself wryly and then shook his head shaking out some of his thoughts so he could focus.
Then he saw Elemmire and felt from her the same thing he often felt from Saphira. Shard power. He shuddered. No wonder Solira kept falling. It ran rampant with Shards. He simply nodded at her decision to leave, his own good riddance on his tongue but for once he held it. But he could not say that he had seen her daughter. "We could help you if you want Elemmire." He said softly, his dark eyes on her but not betraying his emotions. His mind was closed up tight, for once, not allowing anyone in.
It was just after that that he felt pain in his legs and his eyes rolled briefly back into his head. Closing them he bit back the scream and held himself still for moments before he looked down at his legs. Ariel was with Huy, it couldn't be here. So he turned to look along the shore and saw her there with legs burned, blood covering her. He turned away from the gathering and went to her. "Shhh Saphira." He murmurs, his fear for her in his eyes and he touches her gently to allow that light blue light to flow into her. He could heal the bleeding, take away the pain, but the actual injuries would not heal until they could heal the water and the grass. He pressed his lips to her forehead, loving her more than anything, besides Ariel who ranked about the same. His heart was in his throat but he was careful to keep most of his emotions hidden. There was an audience and he knew she loved Alshain. So he straightened after a minute. "Wake up my friend." He says, almost choking on that last word. "I've done what I can."
He turned back towards Fenris as she speaks, well as her wind speaks. "I do not begrudge my people anything. I simply don't want you here." He stresses the you. His voice was emotionless, his eyes dark and barren. He had locked his emotions up in his mind, making it so he could focus on something other than Saphira's barely breathing form at his hooves. When she speaks again his smile is cold. "Then send them if it costs you nothing." There was just something about Fenris that grates on his nerves today. Perhaps it was just the fact over their last encounter. His mistake had been calling her friend. But she leaves and he visibly relaxes, looking towards Huyana.
"I do not refuse help. I refuse Fenris." He stated, looking at her and then continuing to stand over Saphira he turned away. He would know someday. One of these days they might tire of him and break him down from his spot and he would know that he deserved it. Having to worry about all these people was overwhelming and knew he had judged Ozymandias harshly. He lowered his head again. "Saphira. wake up." He whispered to her, still listening to see if anyone else showed up or needed help, his mind opening itself, but putting barriers up so no one could read his thoughts.
Ariel looked at Huyana and smiled as she touched the glass shell that she had found. "Oh Huy." She pressed her nose against a spot that wasn't burned and wish she had the ability to heal others like her father had. She moved along side Huyana, not leaving her side. She loved this mare like she was family and so she was careful to avoid burns and such as they walked, mostly touching but something it was only brief. "The water should be able to be fixed soon." She says, hoping to comfort. "It has lost some of it's red color and there is no longer as much steam rising from it." She smiles slightly and then feels her mother's pain. "Oh mom!" And it was the only time she moved away from Huy's side. She huffed softly in her mom's face, careful to avoid Marshall as he hovered. Then she curled up against Saphira's back laying her neck across Saphira's, working at keeping her warm until she awoke.
