Solira: The Ocean: Im on FIYA

Lycoris was soon at her side, inspecting the shiny, convoluted thing they had discovered. It was beautiful as they both agreed, and strange as they both equally agreed. Huyana smiled, pulling her lips back to make a face in the reflection it gave off. Lycoris then moved her hoof against its side, shifting it in the sands. The roan scholar held her breathe, worried that their new object might abruptly shatter into a thousand tiny, diamond fragments. But it rolled over with a heavy thumb, unperturbed by the act. Huyana exhaled with relief, moving with Lycoris so they stood around it once more, gawking.

Huyana’s water was thrilled suddenly, and she turned towards the direction of its tugs to see Courage approaching them with her benevolent smile and something akin to mischief in her warm eyes. Intrigued Huyana opened up a spot for Courage to join them in their circle, and at once stiffened as Courage washed the sheet in fire. The rain mare was momentarily horrified as she imaging the precious thing melting and wilting into shiny slop beneath Courage’s heated touch. Was it something that should always be destroyed? She couldn’t understand it.. and sat chewing her lip until Courage retreated, exposing the glistening shell of shining glass. Huyana was awed, and dropped her head to better eye the delicate piece of work. She grinned widely, taking it between her teeth and tucking it into the knots of her mane for now. She would have to find Ariel immediately.

Courage moved to leave, her words sending a cold vibe through Huyana. ”You’re been taken?” She queried after the gold mare, her voice full of the sorrow of lamenting rain. She watched the light of Solira leave, wondering if she shouldn’t follow and badger whoever stole Courage to release her at once. But what power, control or authority did Huyana have? She sighed in exasperation, furious at this. Solira didn’t need this now.

Huyana glanced back towards Lycoris, forcing a smile to her lips. ”I’ve been meaning to find something to give to Ariel, I’m sure she’ll love this. Thank you for helping me discover it friend.” Huyana laughed brightly, her mind spinning over all these darker thoughts. ”Why have you come here though? You smell of the woods and seem anxious to return there.”
