Solira: The Ocean: Huyana

She giggled again as the water splashed all over the other mare, amber eyes meeting hazel ones in surprise - she did already have a habit of startling others with her presence, Connor had scorched the earth with his fire when she had first met him and now Huyana was soaked by her own water. Her smile remained firmly in place and her eyes retained their curious questioning of the blue apprentice girl as her feet stepped into the water, letting the small waves lap up and over her fetlocks - a strangely comforting motion. She nodded in response to Huyana's question though she was aware enough to realise it was largely unnecessary (what else could she be referring to after all) and she was amused to find the other girl, like her, seemed to speak everything on her mind at once irrelevant of the perhaps correct manner to introduce oneself and such like. It felt good to find another who shared that trait, instead of being the weird girl who didn't know when to stop talking - or who spoke the truth sometimes perhaps a little harshly instead of considering the feelings of others first (though in Rhi's defence she has gotten much better at that as she's grown older).

Her hazel eyes followed the ribbon of water dancing towards them amazed by the control she showed over the water and her words were equally as surprising to Rhiannon - she wasn't entirely sure what a 'water element, second level' actually was but she did feel compelled to learn how almost everyone seemed to have control over the air or fire or water or lightning or the earth. It was quite a strange thing for a newcomer to get their head around and she was about to question the scholar further when the water scarf was cast around her neck, soaking her dark mane and withers and sending a slight shiver down her back - a giggle erupting from her at the sensation. And then the blue mare provided her with the answers she had been seeking since she had first arrived here, causing her to muse quietly, "so that's why they sounded envious of her..." She refers to the random equine who pointed her to the ocean and advised her of how to recognise the leaders of the Jaegers and who had sounded incredibly envious that Saphira had mastered three elements. Now she understood why that was something to be envious of and looked forward to finding one that fit to her in time. "I'm Rhiannon, also known as Rhi or Annie, newcomer and hopeful scholar" She smiled at the blue mare glad to see a genuine welcoming face smiling back at her.
