He felt the water surging above and below him, tugging and pulling him towards the shore where the Vane had made her reappearance. Of course he didn’t know that but allowed the water to push him towards the shore, where he changed into his land form, his skin still blue and clammy looking however as he stepped closer towards Enola Gay. He smiled lightly at the child that was behind her and then at her side. He came from the water, it falling off his body only to fall back into the ocean where it came from.
He took a long look at her and then his face broke out into a smile. “Enola. I was afraid you had abandoned us.” Not that he meant to insult her but the recent activity of the residents of Solira was enough to crumble anyone’s foundation. He look to her son, eyeing the boy curiously. He saw the sharp glint in his eyes that showed he had intelligence but he did not say anything directly to the colt, instead turning to look back towards Enola. “I am glad to see you back and with company.” He looked at the colt again and smiled but once again turned his gaze back upon Enola Gay. “We have missed you.”
